Benefits
All posts are full time and benefits include; an 8-hour working day, five-day working week, 13th month salary, private medical care, pension, paid vacations, life insurance, Membership of Linguistic Services Institute which includes professional training in all aspects of the industry including the major CAT tools such as Transit, SDLX/Trados and Wordfast.
Linguistic Services SA does not hire freelance workers of any description.
Conditions
All candidates are expected to be able to touch type at the time of application or to obtain the skill within one month of entry.
As members of Linguistic Services Institute all candidates must be prepared to attend those courses and training recommended by Linguistic Services Institute.
Professional staff
Mother tongue speaker of Spanish, University Graduate as Public Translator of English and Matriculation
as a Sworn Public Translator with a GPA of 8.0 or higher.
Administrative Staff
Good English language ability, skilled in the use of MSOffice and a good team player.
Interns
Linguistic Services SA has agreements with a number of leading Argentine universities under the terms of which undergraduate students currently studying for the degree of Public Translator of English can
be accepted as Interns (“pasantía”). Students should first enquire with their own university as to the availability of such agreements.
